Meet Sandesh, who has a decade of working experience and joined the Executive MBA degree program at Dayananda Sagar University in order to upskill his managerial roles at the workplace. Sandesh shares his thoughts with WiseOwl Edu.

Sandesh said, “Dayananda Sagar University has made a good name. We have a lot of trust in them, and they’ve created a brand for themselves. It’s got all the necessary approvals, which is more necessary these days. So that made me choose Dayananda Sagar University.”
Sandesh found the faculty at Dayananda Sagar University to be knowledgeable and always ready to assist. The classroom experience, a unique opportunity for interaction, focus, and innovation, played a crucial role in shaping his managerial skills. “Meeting different people always gives you different opportunities. We had people coming from Commerce, Engineering, and other domains, and it gave them as well as me an exposure of knowing what they do and how it can help me upskill.”
The diverse network at Dayananda Sagar University, comprising individuals with varying backgrounds and experiences, enriched Sandesh’s perspective, contributing to his growth as a manager and an individual. “It’s a very good university. I would definitely recommend anybody who is interested in doing an Executive MBA. The flexibility for working professionals is an added advantage because you do not have to leave your job and still pursue your dream.”
Sandesh’s family, especially his wife and father, played a pivotal role in supporting him throughout the program. His father expressed immense pride in Sandesh’s achievements. Sandesh said, “They have been very supportive throughout the entire program. My father is a great backbone to me, helping and making me prepare for the course, and giving me all the necessary support.”
Sandesh’s wife, reflecting on the journey, shared the challenges and joys of supporting him. “It has been 2 wonderful years because I’ve seen him studying, so it felt like a ‘back to college’ kind of feeling. Finally, he made it, so I’m really proud of him.”
As Sandesh donned the graduation gown and hat, his family expressed overwhelming pleasure and pride, marking the successful culmination of a challenging yet rewarding chapter in his life.
