It’s always nice to make friends and have a camaraderie with the people you study. That was quite the case with these two students who became friends during their Executive MBA degree program at Dayananda Sagar University. Meet Achuth and Sreshpath, who joined the course to pursue their Executive education but also made many connections, friends and embraced the camaraderie of the classroom as well.
“Hi! This is Achuth here. I have 4.5 years of experience. At present, I’m working in Capgemini as Senior Consultant in SAP,” Achuth introduced himself, his tone reflective of his seasoned professional journey.
Sreshpath, with an air of confidence, reciprocated, “Hi! I’m Sreshpath. I’m working as an Office Manager at Logical Solutions. I have 2 years of experience.” Their paths crossed as they embarked on their Executive MBA journey at Dayananda Sagar University, drawn by aspirations for personal and professional advancement.
When asked about their decision to pursue their Executive MBA at Dayananda Sagar University Achuth said, “I just wanted to pursue my next degree also in Dayananda Sagar University. So, that’s why I opted for this college,” he explained, a sense of loyalty evident in his words. Achuth, seeking technical exposure and practical application, echoed Sreshpath’s sentiment, “In MBA, we get very realistic projects, assignments, and everything. So, it is wonderful to apply for an Executive MBA.”
Their camaraderie emerged as they reminisced about their shared experiences, “Yeah, we are from the same batch. We are part of the same group for projects and assignments as well.” Their networking journey unfolded, enriched by interactions with classmates from diverse backgrounds. “Over all the four semesters, we had different project groups. So, each semester we were meeting new people,” Achuth shared, highlighting the richness of their connections. Sreshpath added, “We get a very good exposure with the guys who have 15+ years of work experience. So, we can share knowledge and we’ll do assignments and projects together.”
Their choice of DSU was reaffirmed by its esteemed reputation and the value of its certification. “Dayananda Sagar University is one of the most reputed colleges. Also, this degree is valid all over the country,” Sreshpath emphasized, echoing Achuth’s sentiments.
Reflecting on their academic journey, they praised the supportive faculty who nurtured their growth. “The faculty were very good, they were very helpful,” Achuth commended, acknowledging the invaluable guidance they received. Their Executive MBA had indeed paved the path for career progression and new opportunities. “This happened because of the Executive MBA degree certificate,” Achuth affirmed, a testament to the transformative power of education.
As they adorned their graduation gowns, emotions surged—a blend of nostalgia and gratitude. Achuth said, “Feeling like we’re just passing out from college and making us nostalgic of our Engineering days. So, it feels nice”. Sreshpath, reflecting on his postponed graduation due to the pandemic, expressed gratitude for the milestone he finally attained. He shared, “Actually, I missed my Engineering graduation in 2020 due to Covid. So, now I’m feeling grateful,” he shared, a sense of closure and triumph in his voice.
Their journey, intertwined with determination and perseverance, stood as a testament to the transformative power of education and the resilience of the human spirit.
